A satirical standoff in Syria, cartooned

The word Syria is not a funny subject  drawing a cartoon about it is  tricky because the conflict is complex and messy tensions have been rising between Turkey and Kurdish militias Syria. This week president Erdogan sent his troops into one of the Kurds enclaves.  He thinks they are dangerous  terrorists because they are closely linked to Kurds fighting for more autonomy if not independence in Turkey. Problem is that the Syrian Kurds have become important allies of the US. With American help the Syrian Kurds have cleared Islamic state out of large part of the territory they held. The question is how far America will go in restraining turkey and protecting the Kurds. America and turkey close NATO allies might end up shooting at each other such a sobering subject is not ready-made for human. so I set out instead to create a more pensive cartoon. One not designed to make you laugh but  to make you think. On the left turkeys air - once it's poised to attack on the right. America's Uncle Sam calmly stands in his way behind Sam stands an uncertain character who seems somewhat familiar.  in fact under closer inspection he looks rather similar to the character displayed in air to ones determined grip the caption clarifies the cartoon setup. I'm on the hunt for dangerous bloodthirsty terrorists Kurds. marks Erdogan. seen any. sorry says Sam nothing  here but freedom-loving is defeating American bankers. let's hope their conversation does not evolve beyond a war of works.

Сатирическое противостояние в Сирии, карикатура

Слово «Сирия» - не забавный сюжет, рисовать  карикатуру о нем сложно, потому что конфликт носит сложный характер, и между Турцией и курдскими ополченцами Сирией нарастает напряженность. На этой неделе президент Эрдоган направил свои войска в один из курдских анклавов. Он считает их опасными террористами, потому что они тесно связаны с курдами, борющимися за большую автономию, если не за независимость в Турции. Проблема в том, что сирийские курды стали важными союзниками США. С помощью Америки сирийские курды очистили от исламского государства от значительную часть территории, которую они удерживали. На самом деле, при более внимательном рассмотрении он выглядит довольно похожим на персонажа, изображенного в воздухе, и его решительный захват, заголовок поясняет настройку мультфильма. Я на охоте за опасными кровожадными террористами курдами. отмечает Эрдоган. Видел любой. Извини, Сэм здесь ничего не говорит, но свободолюбие побеждает американских банкиров. Будем надеяться, что их разговор не выйдет за рамки войны произведений.
